Redridge (north of Childers) – grass fire as at 3pm Fri 11 Jan

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a grass fire burning near Smiths Road at Redridge. Crews are working to contain the fire, which is posing no threat to property at this time. Nearby areas may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the afternoon. If affected, residents should close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medication close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
