Wamuran Basin – grass fire as at 3.25pm Sat 18 Aug

QFES crews are on scene at a grass fire burning near Campbells Pocket Road, in the vicinity of Top Yard Road, Wamuran Basin. There is no threat to property at this time. Firefighters are backburning in the area and may be working near roads. Smoke may affect residents in surrounding areas. If affected, residents are asked to close windows and doors. Those suffering a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
